About this role

About Archbee

Archbee is utilized by technical teams at leading companies such as Adobe, Cisco, Bosch, and Red Bull to build knowledge portals that turn static documents into instant answers. Our platform is trusted by businesses in diverse sectors, including SaaS, developer tools, web3/crypto, and hardware. Supported by esteemed investors like Y Combinator, GFC, Credo Ventures, and Inovo.vc, Archbee is committed to transforming how knowledge is shared and accessed.

The role

We’re hiring a Head of Marketing to build and lead marketing at Archbee.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll set the strategy, run experiments, and help turn what’s already working into a repeatable growth engine.

You’ll also manage a Marketing Manager.

You own more of the strategy and direction

They own more of the campaign planning and execution

But both of you will be in the work

Think of it like this: you’re building the playbook and running the plays.

What you’ll do

You’ll own marketing end-to-end. Including:

Strategy & positioning

Define and sharpen our positioning and messaging

Build the “why Archbee” story for different audiences (DevRel, Engineering, Product, Support, etc.)

Turn customer insights into clear, simple marketing narratives

Pipeline & growth

Own the marketing pipeline target (and the plan to hit it)

Partner with Sales and the CEO to align on ICP, segments, and priorities

Build a system for predictable lead flow over time

Campaigns & execution

Launch campaigns across channels (content, SEO, partnerships, paid, lifecycle, community)

Run experiments weekly: ship fast, measure, double down

Work closely with your Marketing Manager to plan and execute campaigns

Content & distribution

Build a content engine that drives traffic and converts

Improve how we distribute content (not just “write more”)

Create high-leverage assets: landing pages, case studies, playbooks, email sequences

Website & conversion

Improve conversion rates across the funnel (visitor → signup → demo → customer)

Own landing pages, messaging tests, and funnel improvements

Make sure marketing doesn’t just “get attention”… it gets results

Brand & trust

Build credibility with technical teams

Create proof-driven marketing (real customers, real outcomes)

Establish Archbee as a trusted name in technical documentation and knowledge management

Team leadership

Manage and coach a Marketing Manager

Set weekly priorities, goals, and clear ownership

Build a culture of execution, clarity, and accountability

What success looks like (first 90 days)

By day 30

You understand the product, customers, and buying journey

You’ve audited our funnel and messaging

You’ve shipped quick wins (landing page updates, email improvements, content refresh)

By day 60

You’ve launched multiple growth experiments

You’ve set a clear marketing strategy and channel plan

You’ve built a reporting cadence the whole team trusts

By day 90

We have a repeatable system for creating demand

Pipeline is growing with clearer attribution

The marketing team is running faster and with more focus

You might be a fit if you…

Have owned marketing in an early-stage startup (or built a big part of it)

Know how to go from “random wins” to a repeatable growth engine

Can do strategy and execution (no “I only manage” energy)

Are comfortable marketing to technical buyers

Think in experiments: hypothesis → test → learn → scale

Write clearly and simply (no fluff, no buzzwords)

Care about pipeline and revenue, not vanity metrics

Enjoy building from scratch and making things real

Bonus points if you have experience with

B2B SaaS, developer tools, or technical products

Product-led growth motions

SEO + content that converts (not just ranks)

Lifecycle marketing (activation, retention, expansion)

Community, partnerships, or integrations-led growth

Why this role is interesting

You’ll be the first Head of Marketing here

You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team

You’ll have real ownership over positioning, pipeline, and growth

You’ll build the marketing function _the right way_—lean, sharp, and focused
